Cricket Victoria congratulates 2023 honours recipients

Cricket Victoria (CV) congratulates all members of the Australian cricket family who have been recognised for their contributions to the game and community in the 2023 Australia Day Honours List.

Former CV Director Susan Crow was among the honours recipients, being appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).

Ms Crow served as a Director from 2007 to 2017 as part of a significant contribution to cricket and sports administration, and became a CV life member in 2017.

Among the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) honourees was CV life member David Crow, a former chair of the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame with a long-standing affiliation to the Melbourne Cricket Club and as a CV delegate.

Co-Chair of Cricket Victoria’s Victorian Indigenous Advisory Committee Belinda Duarte received an AM for her service to the Indigenous community and sports administration.

“The Board of Cricket Victoria extends its congratulations to all who have been recognised on the honours list for their contributions to the game of cricket, particularly those in Victoria,” Cricket Victoria Chair, Ross Hepburn, said.

“Susan is an extremely worth recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia, for her contributions at Cricket Victoria and across the cricket and sporting community in general over an extended period of time.

“We congratulate Susan, fellow CV life member David Crow, Belinda and all the honours recipients.”
