The U14 Girls State Indoor team was nominated following a remarkable year in which they went undefeated across the 8-day tournament held in March 2018. The girls created their own slice of history, winning for the third year in a row.
The team of 10 talented youngsters has been named a finalist for the award alongside the Victorian Age diving team, Victorian 19/U Netball team and the South Melbourne Seahorses – U15 Rescue and Resuscitation Team – Life Saving.
The recipient of the Award will be announced on 20 February, with the event to be hosted at Marvel Stadium.
