Big Bash boost for Women’s Premier T20s

On the international front, South African Lee is expected to turn out for Ringwood in their match against Plenty Valley in Yarrambat. England and Melbourne Renegades all-rounder Danni Wyatt should feature for Plenty Valley alongside Vlaeminck.

Newly promoted Carlton-Brunswick will have the benefit of New Zealand and Renegades captain Amy Satterthwaite, Stars bowler Holly Ferling and England international Georgia Elwiss.

Essendon Maribyrnong Park won last season’s T20 title, defeating Melbourne in the final.

Cricket Victoria Premier Cricket Operations Manager Mike Ronchi said: “It’s a great boost for the opening round of Women’s Premier T20 to have the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades make their squads available for club cricket,” Ronchi said.

“It’s also a fantastic opportunity for the clubs, players and support staff to be able to spend some time with players who have recently returned from the West Indies, playing against the best T20 players in the world,” Ronchi added.
