In Australia’s first innings, Rogers was the only top-order batsmen to pass 19 with a patient 61 (171).
Chasing 231 to win the match and take a 4-0 lead in the series, Rogers took the game away from the visitors, carving out 116 from 155 deliveries.
He departed with 31 runs required for victory but the job was already done.
After entering the match with his position in the side under pressure, Rogers followed up his performance in Melbourne with another century in the final Test in Sydney.
After another memorable hundred in Port Elizabeth in February, Rogers now has four centuries in his 14-Test career.
