MCG and CitiPower Centre matches open to the public

The number of fans able to access the MCG and the CitiPower Centre for these matches will be capped at 1,000. Entry is free at both venues however QR codes must be scanned on arrival.

Please see details below regarding access requirements and facilities:

Marsh Sheffield Shield – Victoria v Tasmania
March 5-8, MCG
Play commences: 10.30am AEDT

  • Crowd will be capped at 1000 attendees each day
  • Entry is free, No tickets will be issued

Entry/Spectator details:

  • Entry only via Gate 2 for both MCC Members and Public. To assist in capacity management and contact tracing, all attendees will sit within the one zone.
  • Level 1 MCC Members’ Reserve seating only, access to all other levels will be restricted, the toilet facilities on level B1 will be used. Attendees will be required to physically distance themselves within the Level 1 MCC Members’ Reserve arena seating
  • Service Victoria QR code must be scanned on arrival.
  • Wristbands will be distributed to all attendees. Wristbands will be required to be worn throughout the duration of your attendance at the MCG, each day. Attendees will need to treat their wristband as a ‘pass out’, if they wish to exit and re-enter the Members’ Reserve throughout each day.
  • Attendees are reminded to pack your debit or credit card as the MCG now operates as a cashless venue. Please also a fitted face mask as it needs to be worn in congestion, specifically on public transport and through the security and entry process.
  • Takeaway food and beverage outlets on Level 1 of the Members’ Reserve will be available to patrons across all days of the fixture.
  • The Hugh Trumble Café – located on Level 1 of the Members’ Reserve – will be open to all patrons across all days of the fixture, for takeaway options and sit-down meals.
  • Yarra Park will not be open for parking for this event.

WNCL – Victoria v Queensland Fire
Friday March 5, CitiPower Centre
Play commences: 10.00am

  • Crowd capped at 1000 attendees each day
  • Entry is free, no tickets will be issued.

Entry/Spectator details: 

  • Gate 2 (Lakeside Drive) will be the only gate open.
  • Spectators will be socially distanced in the Blackie Ironmonger and Kevin Murray Grandstands
  • QR code MUST be scanned to gain entry into ground
  • Bag checks subject to standard conditions of entry
  • BYO Alcohol or Pets prohibited
  • The grassed hill area on the eastern side of the ground is closed to spectators.
  • There are no catering facilities on-site. Spectators may bring food and drinks in plastic bottles (no glass)
  • Public toilets will be available under the Blackie Ironmonger Grandstand
  • Parking & vehicle access limited due to roadworks within Albert Park.

Wednesday March 10, CitiPower Centre
Play commences: 10.00am

  • Entry is free, no tickets will be issued.
