Pucovski leads Victoria to massive victory over WA

Victoria wasted no time on the final day at the WACA Ground, taking the last four Warriors wickets for an emphatic innings and 45-run victory.

Victoria controlled the game from the moment captain Peter Handscomb won the toss and elected to bowl on Tuesday.

After bowling WA out for 208 and making 504 thanks to 243 from 20-year-old Will Pucovski, it was only rain on the third day that delayed them wrapping up the game.

Chris Tremain finished with 5-100 for Victoria to go with 4-37 from the first innings. Scott Boland also took 4-57, which included three of the four wickets on the final morning.

Victoria next face New South Wales at the MCG from Thursday, October 25.
