James Pattinson returns to the Victorian squad after overcoming a minor hip-flexor injury sustained in the KFC BBL. Pattinson has taken 10 wickets in two matches at an average of 19.70 this Marsh Sheffield Shield season.
Victoria remains undefeated in the Marsh Sheffield Shield this season with two wins and two draws and sits on top of the table.
Cricket Victoria Chair of Selectors Andrew Lynch said:
“To get a draw from a difficult position in Adelaide was pleasing, Peter Handscomb again showed his quality and leadership with a match-saving knock. We know the energy that James Pattinson brings to the squad, so we’re fortunate to welcome him back from injury,” Lynch said.
“To have Scott Boland and Marcus Harris available for another Shield game before leaving for Australia’s tour of Pakistan is also a pleasing outcome”.
Will Pucovski remains unavailable following his concussion sustained at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
Tickets are available to purchase at the gate only (Adults $5.00, Children/Conc $2.00). Entry on Day 4 will be a gold coin donation.
