A Sport For All Community Cricket Awards

Presented in partnership with the Commonwealth Bank, the awards are an opportunity to shine a spotlight on community cricket and celebrate the many tremendous achievements of community clubs, associations, centres, administrators and volunteers who do so much to promote cricket and make it welcoming, inclusive and fun for everyone.

The Awards are open for nominations until Sunday February 26, with winners announced at an awards dinner on Wednesday April 26 in Melbourne.

Cricket Victoria Pathway, Club and Competition Development Manager Scott Tutton is looking forward to see Victorians recognised on a national scale after a significant 12 months.

“The awards are a wonderful opportunity for Victorians to be recognised nationally for their tireless work and commitment to a game that we all love,” Tutton said.

“Over the last 12-months, we’ve seen the inauguration of the Cricket Southern Bayside competition, the commencement of Renegades and Stars Girls Cricket Leagues, the piloting of Revised Junior Formats and other wonderful showcases like the National Cricket Inclusion Championships that took place in Geelong. None of these achievements would be possible without the hard work and dedication of our cricket community.”

The award categories include:
–  Community Cricket Club of the Year
–  Cricket Association of the year
–  Community Cricket Initiative of the Year
–  Junior Cricket Program of the Year
–  Partner Organisation of the Year
–  Community Facility Project of the Year

–  Junior Program Champion of the Year
