The open day coincided with the Toom-Nangi, Ngaga Ngarnga & Mundagat Cup, an annual Indigenous cricket match between St Kilda CC and Northcote CC which set the scene for the day and provided a fantastic opportunity to watch premier grade cricket.
Outside there was a range of activities for children and adults to take part in, including:
“The Community Open Day provided us with an opportunity to open our doors and welcome everyone in the community to explore our state of the art facilities, and all the great products and programs we have on offer this season.
“We want to ensure that everyone in the community is aware of all the exciting activities coming to the CitiPower Centre this summer, and this was the perfect opportunity to do so”.
