Celebrating junior female cricketers

Over 200 girls currently playing in Girls Cricket Leagues across the state were celebrated with a lap of honour along with a team photo with WBBL players pre-match.

“Growing female participation within Cricket is a core component of Cricket Victoria’s strategy.  It was fantastic to see potential future WBBL stars complete a lap of honour as we celebrate female participation in cricket.” Aimee White – Female Participation Specialists

The girls thoroughly enjoyed being part of the unique experience, and one that was made even more memorable coming off the back of the Australian Women’s team win at the ICC WT20.
