The development program, which aims to provide females in cricket with an opportunity to develop a range of skills that will help in elite and community sports, will be run throughout the day, and will conclude with participants being invited along to watch the WBBL game at the MCG in the afternoon free of charge.
Participants gain some practical skills, techniques, tools and resources to assist them in their role as a volunteer, coach, official and/or committee member.
The development day aims to foster deeper engagement amongst female administrators and provide aspiration to take on further leadership roles within cricket as well as providing a greater understanding of the current female cricket landscape, including pathways and opportunities for players, administrators and officials.
This year’s program, to be held in the Cricket Australia boardroom, will be delivered by Matti Clements from Mental Edge Consulting with the topics covered to include; the female cricket landscape, tackling the elephants and how to be heard.
The seminar is limited to only 50 participants so to register your interest, email egallagher@cricketvictoria.com.au
