The 鈥楪 to host finals of Super 8s

In the Year 9-10 girls’ final, Wonthaggi Secondary College will meet Hamilton-based Monivae College, while Gipplsand’s Lavalla Catholic College will do likewise in the boys’ division against Geelong Grammar

“To be able to play on the MCG is just going to be a brilliant experience,” Monivae College coach Michael Harms said.

In the modified game of cricket, Monivae College defeated Sacred Heart to finish top of the table in the female division while, Geelong Grammar proved too strong for Emmanuel in the male division.

“We didn’t lose a game all day and made an average of 140 runs, so we batted pretty well,” Geelong Grammar coach Dylan Hodge said.

The state finals of the Super 8s will be played at the MCG on Thursday, November 29.
