Cricket Victoria launch Aboriginal XI Tour of UK through Reconciliation Week celebrations

In attendance were members of the 2018 Victorian Indigenous Men’s and Women’s squads, members of the Victorian Aboriginal Cricket Advisory Committee as well as several other special guests including students from Melbourne Indigenous Transition School.

Australian Indigenous squad member Damon Egan, as well as Assistant Coach Julien Wiener and Aunty Joy Murphy also engaged in a Q&A session to launch the upcoming Aboriginal XI tour of the UK, which honours the 1868 Aboriginal cricket team that was the first Australian sporting team to tour internationally.

The theme for this year’s Reconciliation Week is ‘Don’t Keep History a Mystery’.
