Bartercard joins Premier Cricket

With a network of more than 20,000 businesses across Australia and 55,000 around the globe, Bartercard provides a platform for organisations to help improve their bottom line.

As part of today’s (17/10) announcement, Bartercard will be the naming rights partner of the top-flight of club cricket within Victoria and the Premier All-Stars Twenty20 team which will tackle the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades this summer on the eve of the KFC T20 Big Bash League.

The Bartercard Premier All-Stars team includes former Test spinner Bryce McGain, state squad members Louis Cameron, Ian Holland and James Muirhead and Australia A quick Jake Haberfield.

Melbourne’s Andrew Kent will captain the Bartercard Premier All-Stars against the Stars at Casey Fields on Sunday, December 15 and against the Renegades at the Junction Oval on Tuesday, December 17.

“Bartercard was established 22 years ago with the goal of helping small to medium sized business to achieve their potential in a very competitive landscape,” Bartercard Founder and Chief Executive Officer Brian Hall said.

“Today, we are still proving that bartering between businesses is a viable option to improve cash flow, bring new customers, help move stock or fill seats, fill downtime, improve market share and connect people, not only in the small to medium sized business space, but within corporate Australia.

“We have been really impressed with the professionalism of Cricket Victoria and the way that they manage their team, on and off the field.

“This is an organisation that we are proud to align with and we look forward to building on what we already see as a match winning partnership.”

Bartercard Premier Cricket Strategy and Development Manager Mike Ronchi said Cricket Victoria was delighted to be partnering with Australia’s leading goods and services trading company.

“For more than two decades, Bartercard has been involved with some of the largest sporting clubs, associations and athletes and we are thrilled to have them onboard as the naming rights partner of Bartercard Premier Cricket,” Mr Ronchi said.

“The advent of the Bartercard Premier All-Stars is an exciting initiative this summer and we look forward to the experienced team taking it up to the Stars and the Renegades.

“We are excited about this partnership and look forward to a long and successful relationship.”
