Fatone has made an enormous contribution to the game in the state, particularly during her time on the Board of Cricket Victoria, where she served from 2011 until 2020.
Across this time, Fatone saw the introduction of the BBL and the WBBL, six Sheffield Shield titles, a men’s Big Bash title for the Melbourne Renegades and the transition from the offices in Jolimont in East Melbourne to the CitiPower Centre, Junction Oval.
Fatone also played a foundation role in the development of what was the Victorian Women’s Cricket Association where she went on to be President. Fatone has always had an unstinting commitment to women’s cricket and sport, to equality and to the value of participation in active and healthy lives.
Fatone is now the Chief Executive of the Women’s Legal Service Victoria and Board Member at Respect Victoria.
