Cricket Victoria partners with Tinnies™

The new partnership with Coles Liquor will see its exclusive brew Tinnies, secure pourage rights at the CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval and cater for all of Cricket Victoria’s official events.

Aussie-made Tinnies which was launched exclusively at national Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars stores in 2018 aims to make top-quality craft beer accessible to everyone.

Tinnies is crafted from the finest hops, malt, and barley, and is available in eight styles including lager, ultra low and pale ale which was awarded World’s Best English Style Pale Ale and Country Winner for Pale Ale at last year’s World Beer Awards.

Tinnies Senior Marketing Manager Brylie Dauparas said she was thrilled to partner with Cricket Victoria ahead of an action-packed summer of cricket.

“These two iconic Aussie brands are a match made in heaven and we’re looking forward to a strong three-year innings together,” said Brylie.

“Whether you’re cheering on the Melbourne Renegades or Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League, or supporting Victoria at the Marsh Sheffield Shield or the Women’s National Cricket League, we’re looking forward to becoming the official beer for fans across the state and doing our bit to support community clubs,” she said.

Cricket Victoria General Manager Consumer Business Toby Williams welcomed the new partnership with Tinnies and Coles Liquor.

“I’d like to welcome Tinnies to the Cricket Victoria partner family in what is an exciting new chapter for both businesses. Our fans will be able to enjoy fantastic Tinnies beers at matches and events throughout the year. In a further benefit for cricket clubs, this partnership will deliver a number of great opportunities to community clubs,” Toby said.

As part of the landmark agreement Coles Liquor will also be providing drinks solutions to community cricket clubs who will have access to unbeatable prices, flexible delivery, and thousands of diverse products with no lock-in requirements, as well as exclusive Cricket Victoria deals and 30-day credit options.

This partnership follows the recent announcement that Liquorland has been named the Official Partner of Cricket Australia for the next four years, with Tinnies available at official events and hospitality, as well as pourage rights at the Gabba.
