NICL 2018

NICL live stream coming to Victoria this weekend

In the first match of the evening, both undefeated teams from Round 1 will clash when Monash Tigers take on Cranbourne.

The Tigers were impressive in their opening match of the season taking a 23-run win over the Northcote Pirates. They will once again be led by their leading run-scorer from 2017 Jaide Anthony as well as wicket-taker Erin Caroll and all-rounded Annecy Homberg.

Cranbourne have had a considerable turnover in players from the 2017 season and will look to strong performances from Georgina Heenan, who took 5 wickets in Round 1, as well as  their leading run-scorer in 2017 Keely Pace if they are to go 2-0 this season.

In the Men’s match to follow, Croydon Raiders will look to go 3-0 when they take on Bobo’s Diner Sharks. The Sharks have lost Hurricanes BBL listed player Clive Rose from last year’s side but still maintain plenty of depth with Rodney Bird, Jurgen Anderson and Cameron Dinger all returning from last year’s team that reached the NICL finals series.

The Croydon Raiders are looking to go one better in 2018 after narrowly missing the NICL Grand Final in 2017.

They again will look to Australian World Cup representatives Justin Perkins and Travis Baker to lead the way along with off-season recruit Geoff Latham who impressed in his Croydon debut in Round 2.
