About CV Foundation

Founded in 2022, the Cricket Victoria Foundation exists to create opportunities for Victorians to grow and thrive through cricket. We believe cricket is one of the most powerful vehicles for social change in our state, and we’re committed to proving it.

All funds raised through the Foundation are invested in community programs across our three pillars: Access to the Game, which removes barriers so every Victorian can participate regardless of background, ability or circumstance; Building the Future, which develops the next generation of players, leaders and communities; and Strengthening Community Wellbeing, which uses cricket to foster belonging, resilience and connection where it’s needed most.

Cricket is the how. The outcomes are what matter.

Culture & Leadership Camp

In 2026, Cricket Victoria proudly delivered its inaugural Culture & Leadership Camp, made possible through the generous support of the Phillip Foundation. Held at The Village Green, Strath Creek, the two-day overnight camp brought together 22 young women aged 14–16 from South-East Asian backgrounds for a unique experience focused on leadership, cultural identity, confidence and connection. Through interactive workshops, team-building challenges, cultural reflection activities and cricket-based experiences, participants explored their personal strengths, developed leadership skills and built lasting friendships.

The camp also highlighted the many pathways available within cricket, showcasing opportunities beyond playing, including coaching, umpiring, volunteering and community leadership.

 The overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants reinforced the importance of creating inclusive spaces where young people feel empowered, represented and inspired to lead both within cricket and their wider communities.
