Inclement weather washed out the final three Victorian matches as they finished fifth on the table after winning one of its four matches.
The highlight of the tournament was an unbeaten 98 by Dandenong’s Molineux in the Victorian’s only victory, against Western Australia.
Victorian coach Duncan Harrison described Molinuex’s knock as “spectacular”.
“She was 15 off around 40 balls then ended up with 98 from 70, she turned the match on its head…it was really impressive,” Harrison said.
“I’ve spoken to a few people who said how spectacular her innings was.”
Despite their fifth place finish, Harrison was still proud of his team’s efforts.
“They played the best four teams in the tournament so they got to test themselves against the best,” Harrison said.
“They improved with every game, which is what I asked them at the start of the week.”
