In the morning game, Blows smashed 125* off just 69 balls with 13 fours and seven sixes and followed that up in the afternoon with 105* off just 69 balls again, but this time adding seven fours with her eight sixes.

Another impressive performance in the morning game came from North East Knights bowler Jordan Loughnane who picked up a hat-trick in her second over.

Loughnane finished the game with impressive figures of two overs, one maiden, three for four.

East Metro opening batter Madeleine Wright backed up her 98* on day one with another 91* in her team’s morning win over South West.

North Metro’s Sophie Reid led her side to a comfortable victory in their afternoon contest with 71 of her side’s 158 against North East Knights.

In a day dominated by the bat, Western Waves’ Alice Johnson continued the theme collecting 56 before being retired.

From the results from both games, only two teams managed to have an undefeated day, North Metro who took care of Gippsland Pride and Central Highlanders, whilst Western Waves beat Northern Rivers and South East Metro.

The girls move back to one-day cricket tomorrow, where Gippsland Pride will take on North East Metro at Greeves Reserve.

Central Highlands will do battle with East Metro at Box Hill City Oval, East Metro fresh after having a bye in round three.

Mallee Murray face Western Waves at Melbourne University while South East Sharks play Northern Rivers at the Albert Ground and South East Metro and South West face off at Righetti Oval.

North Metro has the bye for round four and will be resting up for round five.
