Quarter Finals begin at Under-14 Victorian Bushrangers State Championships

Inner South East Scorpions, South East Bayside Breakers and Southern Pioneers remain unbeaten after three group matches.

In yesterday’s final group match, Central Highlands’ Cameron McClure starred with the ball, claiming 5-22 against the Emus.

Barwon Rockets opener Tanner Bruhn produced the best innings of the day with 71 from 92 balls against the Gippsland Pride.

Jake Fraser McGurk produced a stunning all-round performance to get the Emus home against the Sharks with 54 and 3-15.

Scorpions’ opener Max Stevenson is the highest run-scorer of the series so far after knocks of 58, 94 and 33.

Yash Pednekar from the Pioneers is second with 157 runs while Breakers’ batsman Rory Freeman is third with 142.

Miles Sellenger is leading the bowling charts at the moment with eight dismissals, including a haul of 5-28 against the Pride.

Jesse Castan has grabbed seven wickets while Kyle Chamberlain and Josh Ash have taken six.
