The Breakers Under-14 State Champs
After being sent into bat, South East Sharks were bowled out for 64 in the 17th over, in reply South East Bayside Breakers chased the target down with five wickets in hand.
Alana D’Aquino was a stand out with the bat in the chase for the South East Bayside Breakers as she top scored with 20.
In the field, South East Bayside Breakers were pouncing on any half chances and ended up creating three run outs.
With the ball, Maddy White took 2-6 off her two overs, to help restrict South East Sharks to just 64.
For the South East Sharks Lucy Cripps top scored with 14 at the top of the order.
In this morning’s matches, Western Waves Alyssa Humphries made the highest score of the week, ending up with 49* but it wasn’t enough as her side went down to North East Knights.
Scarlett Saxon-Jones continued her week of making runs by adding 41* in Western Spirit’s win over North East Wizards.
South East Bayside Breakers bowler Lilly Felder bowled a superb spell to get her team over the line, finishing the match with three overs 3-4.
