Cricket Victoria and Gage Roads Brewing Co. forge new partnership

The partnership will see Gage Roads Brewing Co. secure pourage rights at the CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval and cater for all of Cricket Victoria’s official events.

The craft brewery is one of Australia’s largest independent brewers, and produces a wide range of ales and lagers catered for all audiences including Atomic Pale Ale, Single Fin Summer Ale, Narrow Neck Session Ale and Hello Sunshine apple cider.

The partnership will also deliver benefits to Premier Cricket clubs and community clubs throughout Victoria.

Gage Roads Managing Director John Hoedemaker said “this is a very exciting partnership for us and continues the roll-out of our brand-in-hand marketing strategy, which is targeting increasing sales and market exposure on the east coast of Australia. This partnership opens the doors for our range of beers including Atomic Pale Ale, Single Fin Summer Ale, Narrow Neck Session Ale and Hello Sunshine apple cider to be enjoyed at Premier Cricket clubs and community clubs across Victoria.”

“From grassroots level to first class cricket, Victorians are as passionate about their cricket as we are about brewing quality craft beer. That’s why this will be a successful partnership that will benefit both parties,” Hoedemaker said.

Cricket Victoria CEO Andrew Ingleton welcomed the new Gage Roads Brewing Co. partnership at an exciting time for both organisations.

“Having Gage Roads Brewing Co. partner with us here at Cricket Victoria is a tremendous result and the added benefits for our Premier Cricket and community clubs across the state will help build a strong relationship with this innovative, fast growing brewery.

“With a wide range of craft ales as well as a mid-strength and cider option, Gage Roads Brewing Co. will provide great choices for our fans to enjoy in moderation while watching the cricket at our new home in St Kilda.”

About Gage Roads Brewing Co.
Gage Roads isn’t a road at all. It’s the strip of ocean that separates the port of Fremantle and Rottnest Island off the coast of WA. Head Brewer Aaron Heary describes it as a place where you can relax, escape, explore or seek out adventure. The founders of Gage Roads Brewing Co couldn’t think of a more fitting name for a West Coast craft brewery.

What started as a small, cobbled together brewery in an old margarine factory in 2004 has grown to become one of Australia’s best craft breweries. The range of ales and lagers they brew are all inspired by the people, places, and iconic stories of Gage Roads.
