MILO T20 Blast School Cup State Final
Over the past few months, over 1000 boys and girls school teams across three divisions – Year 7, 8 and 9-10 – have been participating in round-robin tournaments at school carnivals.
Proceeding to the East and West Regional Finals, teams then battled it out for one of the 12 spots available on the MCG.
“With so many teams competing in the program, it’s a real credit to those schools who have advanced to the State Final,” Cricket Victoria Schools Coordinator Ryan Batchelder said.
“Every child dreams about playing on the MCG, so we are happy that we can give them that opportunity.
“We would really like to thank all the school, teachers, students and parents involved over the past year.
“They have all been a big help in making the carnivals possible.”
Play will commences tomorrow at 11am.
