Omega Cricket Club is one of Victoria’s leading grassroots cricket clubs. We see ourselves as a club that can cater for the social player, through to players aiming for 1st XI cricket and beyond.

  • Cultivate and maintain high standards, expertise and playing strategies that promote excellence and success.
  • Having the ability to constantly innovate and stay a step ahead of the competition as well as continually maintaining a positive perspective, is crucial to the role.
  • First XI experience, preferably in Premier Cricket, VSDCA or CSB

This position is available only for a Playing Coach or 1st XI Captain/Coach.

 

Key Selection Criteria

  • Delivering a program to achieve the best possible competition results, whilst focusing on the development of players and members both professionally and personally.
  • All training and coaching requirements of the FIVE Senior Men’s Teams, with a keen focus on the 1st XI Squad.
  • Conducting skill and strategic analysis of individuals and squads and implementing individual skill and strategic development strategies.
  • Regular performance reviews for players to develop open/clear communication.
