Information

The Elwood Cricket Club, based at Wattie Watson Oval, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Coach for the 2024-25 season and beyond. Reporting to the Club Committee, the Senior Coach will be responsible for:

  • planning training sessions for the Club’s Senior playing group.
  • supervising training and ensuring sessions are held at a consistent standard of energy and coordination.
  • providing players with technical advice, motivation, and support in all aspects of the game.
  • working with the Selection Committee on player grading and game day strategy.
  • providing feedback to players and captains on skills and areas for improvement.

 

Key Selection Criteria

The Club is seeking a person with established leadership qualities and cricketing experience who can dedicate their time and energy to the club. An understanding of the technical and strategic aspects of the game and high standards of personal conduct is required.
The club will favourably consider a player/coach arrangement.
Remuneration is subject to negotiation.
