The Golden Square Cricket Club is seeking the services of a playing or non-playing coach for the 2024/25 season. The club was founded in 1918 and has a rich history being one of the most successful clubs in regional Victoria. The Club resides at the Golden Square Sporting Complex (Wade Street) and competes in the Bendigo District Cricket Association. The club is looking for an individual that is driven and able to continue the great work that has been put in place with junior development as well as nurturing the current playing group.
Key Selection Criteria
The Golden Square Cricket Club is looking for a coach that has:
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work with a variety of skill sets
- Strong leadership
- Willingness to improve the team and club performance
- Assist junior players in their transition to senior cricket
- Work with captains/selection panel for round by round selection
- Valid working with children check
